Every fraternity chapter at Washington University is heavily involved in service thoughout the St. Louis community in volunteering with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Americorp, Centenary Church's food pantry, or through their own philanthropy events that raise money for a certain charity. Many Wash U. fraternities are also heavily involved in Thurtene Carnival, which raises money for the George Washington Carver House each year.
In addition to those service events, IFC also organizes service events for the Greek community as a whole. We have sponsored events such as Dance Marathon, Campus YMCA's Field Day, and a location for Service First. We also hold a food drive during Greek Week, and a service day during Spring recruitment for all Greek men at a local middle school.
